The Reverse Side
Here you see the abbreviation “IGR” stamped, which extends across the entire surface of the otherwise blank bar and stands for “Istanbul Gold Refinery”.
About Istanbul Gold Refinery Inc.
The company was originally called “Halac Jewelry Limited,” founded in 1995 by a man named Ömer Halac. In 2002, this company merged with the “Istanbul Gold Refinery” and became “Istanbul Gold Refinery Inc.” The gold bars from this company have been certified by the renowned “LBMA” (“London Bullion Market Association”) since 2011.
